Hempnall Reserves suffered a shortage of players for this game, and a serious injury to Mike Clarke did nothing to help their cause on the day.
Several of the students were unavailable, so the even younger players were brought in.
The team didn't play badly, and in fact, David Pointer felt they deserved more from the game.
Mike Clarke scored the goal but finished up in hospital with a bad injury but thankfully his leg was not broken.

Unfortunately with so many of the students not available, their game at Marlborough had to be called off and we sincerely offer our apologies to Marlborough.
Hempnall Veterans were also without a game.
