The First Team was not at it‘s best in the second half of their game against Attleborough in the Cup last week. Three goals ahead and cruising they took their foot off the pedal and nearly lost the game. This did not please Tim Clarke and he certainly echoed his feelings after the final whistle.
The game at Brandon last week was by far a different story as they dominated the game from start to finish. The Brandon keeper denied them of a half time lead but he didn‘t get much choice in the second half as the team completely destroyed the Brandon defence. The Hempnall goals all had a bit of class about them as they all had a lot of hard work in the build up to each of them. The loss of Steven Barnes has caused Tim and Frankie a few problems as he is likely to be out for a few weeks.
The Reserves remain undefeated after four games and Paul Sprong must be proud of the squad he has assembled. Paul was away last week so Pagey and Cracky were left to manage the team against CEYMS.
The Veterans played their first game on Sunday but against a very good Witnesham side lost 0-4. Due to personal problems Mick Sanders has relinquished the position as manager after being there from the outset of the team. Andy Soanes has fulfilled the position.
