Veterans withdraw from the League

Unfortunately, we have to announce that our Veterans team have had to withdraw from the Veterans League, due to a lack of players.
After forming 3 seasons ago under the management of Bruce Rumsby and John McCluskey, it's been, in the words of Bruce, ‘a bit of a rollercoaster ride with a terrific first season resulting in promotion to the Premier League, and a tough last 2 seasons’.
The Veterans league is very strong with high quality football, but over the last two seasons, we have had a dwindling number of players and in recent times, have found it difficult to fulfil fixtures.
