Hempnall F.C. Reserves v Martham

Report By No specific role (No specific role)

Saturday, 27th April 2013, 1:30PM, at Martham Coronation Ground #1

Away Match, Anglian Combination Division 2 - 2012 - 2013

Loss, 0 - 3

The end of season fixture pile up took us to Martham for a game where both side were battling for Division 2 survival.

The game was played in good spirit by both sides and at typical Division 2 tempo. Martham created some great chances in the first half, most of which were acrobatically tipped over the bar by a rejuvenated Matt Oakley.

Our midfield pairing of Chris 'bone cruncher' Easton and Stu 'Mo Farah' Mattos gave the opposition a torrid time in the middle of the park.

When it came to creativity, it's was Dan Millican the skilful fullback who showboated his way through the 90 mins with an array of worldy tricks!!

The game finished 3-0 to Martham (well deserved), once again we were so close to winning the game (we only needed to score 4 goals!!).
