Hempnall FC

The Club is, this week, launching the 100 Club, a very important event for us, as it will be a main fundraiser for the Talbot Park project.

We would urge you all to become a member - essentially, it is £30 a year (up front), with monthly draws, the amount paid each month will be 50% of the funds raised, so the more people in the 'Club', the more the prize money.

The first draw will be the first week of March 2012, so please commit quickly.

It is with great delight that we can announce that Dr. Steven Griffiths has agreed to become our new Club President.

This is great news for the Club.

Steve has been a long time supporter of the Club in many ways, from some 30 years ago when his sons James and Tom both played at youth level.

In his time in Hempnall, Steve helped coach and run the youth teams, and has been on the management committee, leading us as Chairman for several seasons.

We often see him on the touchline with the BRF, and he has, since we commenced 'sponsored matches', sponsored first team games.

Steve will be a hands-on President, and both the Chairman and I are very much looking forward to having him on board in these testing times for grass-roots football.
