General News, Advertising Boards, Kit and Programme Sponsors

Sorry about the relative lack of inactivity on the website for the last couple of weeks - the website Editor has been chasing wild animals (honestly!), and Clarkey has also been on holiday, no doubt sunning himself and looking forward to the return to help Franky get the team back to winning ways - this holiday and cricket lark really doesn't help our early start to the season, keeping the number of players for selection rather limited, with one or two vital players still playing with willow rather than leather, but things will improve when they finally return to the proper game!
The Committee has been active, and all are taking their formally prescribed duties very seriously.
Pagey advises that all of our current advertising board spaces have been taken.
Many thanks to all those who have supported the Club in this way. The support we have received in these financially difficult times continues to be extremely valuable and helps us keep our heads above water.
Well done to Pagey for his efforts, another success in the long line of Club successes for him!!
Also, Will Beckett has again amazed us all by renewing most of the programme advertisements and many of the First Team home matches are also sponsored, thanks largely to Will's efforts.
Trevor has now returned from holiday and is working his way through the various outstanding matters, including adding the new Sponsors to our list on the website, and writing letters thanking all of our Advertisers and Sponsors. It will take time, so any Sponsors or Advertisers reading this, please bear with me.
Hopefully, though, all Sponsors will realise how much they are valued by our efforts to include them on the website, which is, judging by the number of individual visits to the site, read by a huge number of people.
For those worrying about when Clarkey's next article will arrive need fear no longer - Tim returns tomorrow, so his tanned face will once again adorn the News section of this website - how we have missed him!
