Hempnall welcomed East Harling to Bungay Road expecting nothing but 3 points.

Whitting returned to the attack at the expense of Cartledge and Emmett replaced Nichols at the back who was back with the first team.

The Hempnall management asked for workrate and commitment to match the ability of the team and they were not disappointed as Hempnall ran out 7-1 winners.

Below is a desription of each goal :

1-0:  Header won by Hempnall midfield, Whitting used body to shield off Harling player then turned & half volleyed to L.Barrett who after some great work down the left channel looped a ball high to the far post, Andy Clitheroe running in caught the ball perfectly in his stride to volley home from 10 yards like a rocket into the left hand side of the net.

1-1: The Ball was switched across the pitch to the Harling right winger who put his boot through the ball sending it high up into the air and what looked like a sure goal kick. However the ball started to drop down quicker than expected. Garthy stumbled backwards, got a hand to it & tipped it onto the crossbar but the defence had frozen not expecting to be called into action & Garthy was left in a pile on the floor so the Harling striker converted the easy task of poking the ball into an empty net.

2-1: Whiting won the ball deep in the Harling half dribbling the ball across towards the left wing & just when he shaped to slip in the overlapping Emmett, he turned back inside sending the defender out of play & opening up the middle. Great movement from Kingo found himself a yard & Whitting played it to feet. As Whitting rushed into the box screaming for a return ball, Kingo turned outside his man opening it up for himself & smashed in his effort to the far post, the keeper got his hands to it but could not hold it, palming a bouncing ball into the path of Whitting who smashed a right foot volley into the bottom right corner of the net.

HALF TIME

3-1: Whitting played the ball into L.Barret feet on the edge of the are who played ball back into Whiting's feet who touched it back into the path of L.Barrett first time who drove the ball cleanly into the bottom right corner shaving the post.

4-1: Melee in the area, ball dropped to Kingo 8 yards out, who took his time, nudged it onto his left foot & slotted calmly past the keeper.

5-1: Kempy crossed the ball in, JD got the ball under control & fired home his first goal for the Reserves.

6-1: Another melee in the area resulted in the ball dropping to JD almost on the goal line but outside the post, he then squared the ball 2 yards to his right for L.Barrett to tap in.

7-1: The ball travelled across the area touching a number of players before it fell to Clitheroe unmarked at the far post to tap in.
