End of season round up

A mixed season for the club, with the First Team ending up mid table in D3 of the Anglian Combination, probably about where we hoped we'd end up after a difficult close season where we secured a new manager, Michael Cullum, who guided us but decided to call it a day and we thank him for his effort, and wish him well in his next project. Billy Kelly and Matt Jilling will be taking the reins for the forthcoming season. We wish them well.

Tom Radford's Reserves finished towards the bottom of D2 of the Central and South norfolk League, but with a number of his players retiring or becoming unavailable for next season, with his work and family commitments taking precedence, we have decided to fold our Reserves. This is in line, unfortunately with many grassroots football clubs but various stumbling blocks largely revolving around lack of players and lack of helpers. Tom has done a great job over the past seasons.

Running a locall football club, especially a village based club, is becoming ever more difficult but we are confident we can continue onwards and upwards.
